5.2. TOP running gear operation

Regular control of wheel pressure. If there is a significant loss of air from the tyres,
check the air valve for leaks. Next, take the wheel to a specialised workshop to locate
and repair the damage. Significantly damaged tyres (particularly profile damage) must be
replaced immediately.
Setting of wheel bearing axial clearance.
It is recommended that this operation is carried out by a specialised company. Performed
by tightening the nut on the wheel hub after the wheels have been removed. The
recommended clearance is 0.12-0.15 mm. Inspection and adjustment should take place
every 2 years.
Procedure :
• Removal of the hub cover and the spring pin securing the spring nut.
• At the same time, while turning the hub, press down and tighten the crown nut.
