QuietPure with Powerful Space Station Purification^™ is a portable small space purification system designed to help you and your family enjoy breathing pure, safe, healthy air every day. It features multi-level purification technologies to eliminate smoke, odors, dust, harmful Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) gases and other contaminants.
Its compact size and modern design make QuietPure ideal for a variety of indoor environments, rooms, and offices. Portability allows you to take it with you when you travel! Imagine smelly hotel rooms, crawling with odor-causing bacteria, mold and fungi, transformed into fresher smelling, healthier, purified spaces. QuietPure with ActivePure® goes to work to purify and reduce the presence of harmful contaminants from the air and on surfaces. Funky, stagnant air is purified and freshened instead of masked with chemicals and fragrances.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

WHEN USING AN ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, BASIC PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE TAKEN.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRICAL SHOCK, OR INJURY:

• Use only as described in this manual.
• Do not attempt to repair or adjust any of the electrical or mechanical functions of the unit. Contact Customer Service for service information.
• Do not allow foreign objects to enter the ventilation or exhaust openings.
• Do not block or cover the unit.
• Turn off all controls before unplugging.
• Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
• Do not unplug by pulling on the cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.

MULTI-LEVEL PURIFICATION

HEPA FILTRATION – QuietPure starts the purification process with a High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter, which is 99.97% efficient at removing tiny particles as small as 0.3 micron from the air.
CARBON LAYER – The HEPA filter contains a carbon layer to absorb smoke, odors and VOCs that off-gas from household cleaners, paints, carpets, furniture and other common materials containing chemical substances.
ACTIVEPURE TECHNOLOGY – Our proprietary ActivePure® Certified Space Technology™ destroys up to 99% of contaminants in the air and on surfaces, resulting in a cleaner, healthier and more efficient environment.
NEGATIVE IONIZATION – An ion generator charges particles so they will cluster together, making them easier to remove from the air. The electrical charge causes the particles to become attracted to and trapped by the filter.

OPERATION

GETTING STARTED: Before using, be sure to remove the HEPA filter from its protective plastic bag. Please follow the instructions on how to access the new filter in the MAINTENANCE section of this manual.
POWER: Insert the power plug into a standard 120V electrical outlet. Gently tap the "On/Off" power button on the touch screen control panel. (Note that the "ActivePure", "Dust", "VOC" and "Negative Ion" operation features will always be in use and their respective indicator lights will remain on while the unit is on. This is to let you know QuietPure is working to purify your environment with multiple technologies at all times.) Tapping the "On/Off" button again turns the unit off along with the lights.
TIMER: Tap the "Timer" button to choose a time setting. The unit will automatically shut off after the time expires.
SPEED: Tap the "Speed" button to select between "Low", "Medium", and "High".
REPLACE FILTER: When the filter is at the end of its service life, the "Replace Filter" indicator LED light will illuminate to remind you to change the filter and replace it with a new one. After replacing the filter, press and hold the "Timer" and "Speed" buttons simultaneously for 8 seconds to reset the unit and turn the light off.

MAINTENANCE

ALWAYS TURN THE UNIT OFF AND UNPLUG PRIOR TO HANDLING.
Before using, be sure to remove the filter from its plastic bag. The filter is re-usable and easy to clean with a vacuum. We recommend replacing the filter after 6 months of use. Periodically, clean any dust build-up from around the unit as needed.
Before using the first time:

1. Press the latch on the bottom cover to unhinge it from the unit's housing.
2. Remove the new filter from the unit and its freshness bag. You may discard the plastic bag.
3. Place the unwrapped filter back into the unit, aligning it with the filter slot.
4. Press the bottom cover back into place, aligning it with the closure slot.

Cleaning a used filter:

1. Press the latch on the bottom cover to unhinge and carefully remove the used filter.
2. Avoid bumping, spilling, or inhaling the collected particles while handling the used filter.
3. Carefully vacuum the filter to remove dust and debris. Do not wash the filter.
4. Rinse the bottom cover with water to clean. Allow to completely dry before reinstalling.
5. Place the cleaned filter back into its aligned slot in the bottom of the unit.
6. Press the bottom cover back into place, aligning it with the closure slot.

Replacing an old filter:
When the "Replace Filter" LED indicator light illuminates on the control panel, it is time to replace the unit's filter. We recommend replacing the filter after 6 months of use or whenever the "Replace Filter" indicator LED lights up. It is a good idea to purchase replacement filters in advance so you are prepared when it is time. Simply follow the applicable steps above to access and dispose of a used filter, and then to unwrap and install a new filter. Simultaneously pressing and holding the "Timer" and "Speed" buttons for 8 seconds will reset the unit and turn off the "Replace Filter" light.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Please do not disassemble the unit or service yourself. If these corrective actions do not solve the problem, please contact customer service.
