PRE-RIDE INSPECTIONS
Before Starting the Engine
n Suspension Inspection
Loose nuts and bolts can reduce your snowmobile's reliability and cause
needless repairs and down time. Before beginning any snowmobile trip,
a visual inspection will uncover potential problems. Check the follow-
ing items on a weekly basis or before any long trip.
Suspension mounting bolts
Rear idler wheel bolts
Rear idler adjusting bolt locknuts
Torque arm bolts
Carrier and bogie wheel bolts
Front torque arm limiter strap
Rail slide
Track
All rear suspension components
Ski runner/skag
Ski spindle bolts
Tie rod end nuts
