The high-capacity hard disk is the answer to your storage needs.
Optical drive
The computer comes standard with a USB CD-ROM or an optional IEEE
1394 DVD-ROM.
Playing DVD movies
To play DVD movies on your computer, follow these steps:

Connect the external DVD drive, see "Connecting your optical
drive" on page 50.

Turn on the optical drive (a) and open the DVD tray by pressing the
eject button (b). Insert a DVD movie disc; then close the DVD tray.
Important! When you launch the DVD player for the first time,
the program asks you to input the region code. DVD discs are
divided into 6 regions. Once your DVD drive is set to a region
code, it will play DVD discs of that region only. You can set the
