Troubleshooting
Check the following points before requesting repairs or service.... If the fault persists, please contact your dealer or service center.
Case
The air conditioner does not
operate.
The room has a peculiar
odor.
It seems that condensation
is leaking from the air
conditioner.
Air conditioner does not
operate for about 3 minutes
after turning on.
Does not cool or heat
effectively.
The air conditioner
operation is noisy.
Remote Controller display is
faint, or no display at all.
Crack sound is heard.
Indoor Unit suddenly power off
and power on again after a few
minutes
Indoor Unit suddenly power off
and never power on again
Explanation
• Check room temperature setting?
• Check if circuit breaker is on?
• Check that this is not a damp smell exuded by
the walls, carpet, furniture, or cloth items in the
room.
• Check the drain hose is connected tight or if
indoor unit is installed even.
• This is the protector of the mechanism.
• Wait about 3 minutes and operation will begin.
• About 3 minutes delay is applied to protect
compressor from frequently on/off.
• Is the air filter dirty? See air filter cleaning
instructions.
• Has the temperature been set correctly?
• Are the indoor unit's air inlet or outlet vents
obstructed?
• For a noise that sounds like water flowing.
-This is the sound of refrigerant flowing inside
the air conditioner unit.
• For a noise that sounds like the compressed
air releasing into atmosphere.
-This is the sound of the dehumidifying water
being processed inside the air conditioning
unit.
• Are the batteries depleted?
• Are the batteries inserted in the opposite (+)
and (-) directions?
• This sound is generated by the
expansion/contraction of the front panel, etc.
due to changes of temperature.
• When the unit pressure is too high,high
pressure switch operate to protect compressor
and system.
• When outdoor unit refrigerant is not enough,
discharge temperature switch
compressor and system.
During above two conditions,indoor power will
be off for a few minutes,when product returns
to be normal,indoor power will be on again.
• When the unit pressure is too low , low
pressure switch operate to protect compressor
and system.
During this conditions,indoor power will be off
and the two LED lights of outdoor PCB will
twinkle continuously.
