Sheet paper:
Open the sheet tray.
(It flips out from the back of the printer)
Insert the sheet into the feeder.
Align your sheet with the raised vertical line on the right side of sheet tray
Insert until the paper cannot continue
With thicker sheets you feel resistance.
The printer detects the sheet
A countdown begins on the front-panel display.
After the countdown, the paper feeds into the printer.
Guide the sheet into the printer
Especially important with thicker papers.
Front-panel display asks what you are loading
(roll, a sheet with skew check, or a sheet without skew check)
.Select Sheet, with skew check
Select your paper category and type, or...
If your paper has an HP preset,
Select the name of your paper from the list
If you selected Sheet in the Paper Load menu,
the printer checks the alignment and measures the sheet.
(Depending on the length of the sheet, it feeds out the front of the printer.)
If the paper has been loaded successfully,
the front panel displays the Ready message
If the paper is not straight,
follow the instructions on the front-panel display.
Printing from Photoshop
Inside Photoshop...
Open your file
Flatten your file if it is not already flattened
(Printing is faster if flattened)
>Image >Canvas
to see the dimensions of your image/canvas
>File >Print
