The SIGLENT TECHNOLOGIES SDS1104X-E oscilloscope does not have a dedicated spectrum analyzer, but it includes a 1 million point FFT math function, which provides high-frequency resolution for observing signal spectra.

Keep the damaged shipping container or cushioning material until the contents of the shipment have been checked for completeness and the instrument has passed both electrical and mechanical tests.     SDS1000X-E User Manual Prepare for Using Adjust the Supporting Legs Adjust the supporting legs properly to use them as stands to tilt the oscilloscope upwards for stable placement of the oscilloscope as well as better operation and observation. During the start-up process, the oscilloscope performs a series of self-tests and you can hear the sound of relay switching.

Turn the knob clockwise to increase the vertical position and the channel waveform moves up while counterclockwise to reduce the vertical position and the waveform moves down.

    SDS1000X-E User Manual Bandwidth Limit Set the bandwidth limit to reduce display noise. For example, the signal under test is a pulse with high frequency oscillation.  When the bandwidth limit set to Full, the high frequency components of the signal under test can pass the channel.

Turn clockwise to reduce the horizontal time base and turn counterclockwise to increase. The oscilloscope provides the following acquisition mode: Normal, Peak Detect, Average and Eres. 1. Press the Acquire button on the front panel to enter the ACQUIRE function menu; 2.
