  • Page 4 STEP 1 – Gluing the Neck. The ESK-75 is a hollow body guitar and has a glued in neck (no screws). This design is known as a set-neck. Assuming your guitar body and neck have been prepared for finishing (or are finished), and that all surfaces have been cleaned up, you can 'dry-fit' the neck to the body (just hold it in place to see how tight or loose it fits).
  • Page 5 Take note of the 3-way switch at the top bout of the guitar, and the side mounted input jack. Because the ESK-75 is a hollow-body guitar, all the parts of the electronics harness can be soldered together (including the input jack, the 3-way switch and the pickups and pots), if you take particular care in spacing the parts appropriately.
