3-PRONG PLUG INSTRUCTIONS
For your personal safety, this appliance must be grounded. This appliance is equipped with a power supply cord having a 3-prong grounding plug. To minimize possible shock hazard, the cord must be plugged into a mating 3 prong, grounding type, wall receptacle, grounded in accordance with the National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA 70 latest edition and all local codes and ordinances. If a mating wall receptacle is not available, it is the personal responsibility and obligation of the customer to have a properly grounded, 3-prong, wall receptacle installed by a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from becoming entangled in, or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use.
- The electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least that of the appliance. If the electrical rating of the extension cord is too low, it could overheat and burn.
- The resulting extended cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Remove all various packaging, stickers, or accessories from both the inside and outside of the kettle.
Adjust the length of the cord by winding it under the base.
For perfect results, operate the digital cordless water kettle with fresh water in order to clean any residue left from the manufacturing process. When the appliance has cooled down, repeat the process 3 times with fresh water, before rinsing.

- To boil water: simply press on the "Boil" button (B) once, the LED ring (2) will come on, indicating that the appliance is operating.
- To heat water at a selected temperature, press the temperature setting button (C) repeatedly, until selecting the temperature you want. The LED ring (2) will display a different color for each temperature setting: green (120°F / 60°C), blue (160°F / 70°C), purple (175°F/80°C) and yellow (195°F / 90°C). The corresponding LED light (a) will light on.
- If the LED ring (2) does not come on, check if the kettle is positioned correctly on the base, and check if the base is plugged in.
- Do not open the lid while the water is heating or boiling.
- The digital cordless water kettle will switch off automatically when the water boils (100°C/212°F) or when the selected temperature has been reached. The unit will beep indicating the temperature has been reached and the kettle is switching off. However, you can stop the appliance anytime by pressing the off button (b) or by lifting the kettle from the power base.
Make sure that the lid is closed, and the filter is correctly and securely fitted before switching on the appliance. Failure to do so will cause the kettle not to switch off automatically.

To select this function, keep the "Boil/Off/Keep Warm" button (B) pressed for more than one second. The LED ring will flash red, indicating the kettle is on and the keep warm function is activated. When the water boils the kettle will beep and shut-off temporarily, and when the water temperature drops to a certain level, the kettle will automatically start boiling the water again to keep it warm at all times.
to use the keep warm function, always make sure the water level is above the "MIN" level line to make sure that the kettle will properly shut off after the water has reached boiling point.
- To stop the keep warm feature, simply switch the kettle off, select a new temperature, or lift the kettle from its power base.
- The kettle may be stored on the power base when not in use.
- Always disconnect the power supply when not in use.
- When pouring a large quantity of hot water, pour slowly and do not incline the kettle past the horizontal line to avoid burns and injuries.
Note about use in altitude: The auto-shutoff feature is programmed to turn the unit off automatically when the water boils. In high altitude, the kettle will reach a lower boiling point and will not automatically shut off when reaching boiling temperature. In this situation, the unit is programmed to shut off automatically after about 12 minutes. A longer working time is completely normal when using the unit in altitude.
