1. SAFETY WARNINGS

Read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, keep them for future
reference.
• This appliance should not be used by children from 0 to 8 years old. Children aged 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge may be used if they have been given appropriate
supervision or training concerning the use of the appliance in a safe manner and
understand the dangers involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and maintenance to be carried out by the user must not be carried out by children.
• Before each use, completely unwind the appliance's power cord.
• Do not use the device if its start/stop device does not work.
• Unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use and before carrying out any
cleaning operation.
• This appliance is intended for domestic use only, not for professional or industrial use.
Prolonged use for professional purposes could overload and damage it. Use under
these conditions will void the warranty of the device.
• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures.
• Keep and store the device in a dry, dust-free place and away from sunlight.
• Never leave the device connected and unattended.
Electrical safety
• Before connecting the appliance to the mains, check that the voltage indicated on the
characteristics plate matches the mains voltage.
• The plug of the appliance must match the electrical base of the power outlet. Never
modify the plug. Do not use plug adapters.
• Do not use the appliance with a damaged electrical cord or plug.
• WARNING: Do not use the appliance near water.
• Do not use the appliance with wet hands or with bare feet.
• Do not touch the connection plug with wet hands.
• Unplug the appliance from the power outlet before installing or removing its accesso-
ries, cleaning it or when not using it.
• If any of the surrounding parts of the appliance is broken, immediately disconnect the
appliance from the mains to avoid the possibility of suffering an electric shock.
• Avoid using extension cords, as they can overheat the equipment with the consequent
risk of fire.
