SCOPE
The purpose of this manual is to ensure that the valves
supplied are properly installed, handled, operated and
maintained to give trouble-free performance.
This manual covers FNW high performance butterfly
valves from 2"-24" wafer and lug designs.
NOTES:
• Read the manual carefully before removal,
installation, maintenance or operation of
the valve.
• Refer to general arrangement drawings to
identify the design, as valves may vary in
features and parts.

    Carefully unpack the valve and check for tags or identification plates, etc. If the nameplates and/ or tags are lost or destroyed during shipment or storage, or if it is not legible, contact an FNW or manufacturer representative for assistance before installing the valve.
