It is, therefore, necessary to pay the utmost attention to all of the paragraphs that illustrate the most simple and secure way to operate and use this product.
INTRODUCTION This manual contains all the necessary information on the installation and operation of the pallet forks frame. Some of the maintenance operations should only be carried out by professional technicians. If you require this information and the maintenance steps, please contact your dealer. Also included in this manual are a number of safety instructions to create a safe working environment.

In the event that equipment, procedures, work methods or working techniques are used that are not specifically advised by the CAM attachments company, it is necessary to make sure that there is no danger to the operator or other people.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE 1. Transport If you want to transport the pallet forks frame on a pallet, make sure that the attachment is securely attached so that it can’t fall off. Safely transport the pallet forks frame by following the next steps: 1.

3. Use the tilt cylinders to tilt the quick-release frame forward. 4. Unlock the hooks from the guide lugs on the quick-coupling system. 5. Drive backwards with the hooks in the correct position. 6. Your pallet forks frame is now disconnected from the telehander/tractor-loader.
• The assembly and installation must be carried out by an expert. • Make sure that the goods and packaging are in good condition. • Before commissioning, carry out a risk analysis on the assembly of the CAM attachment with the forklift.

4. Use the tilt cylinders to tilt the quick-release frame forward. 5. Attach the pallet forks frame to the front loader. 6. Make sure that the hooks fall between the guide lugs on the quick-coupling system. 7. Use the tilt cylinders to tilt the quick-release frame backwards.

• Make sure that the locking pins of the machine locked the attachment securely to the loader. • After the installation of the attachment and before putting the device into operation, check if all the functions work correctly. Any failure of the safety devices can cause malfunctioning and damage to the attachment. If you want to disconnect the pallet forks frame, you need to follow the procedure the other way round.
• For safety reasons, arbitrary adaptations or modifications to the equipment are prohibited. • In the event of non-envisaged workmanship or intervention or following a procedure different to that indicated in the manual, consult CAM attachments before proceeding in order to ascertain its feasibility.
6.2. Operating instructions Perform the daily maintenance check before each use as described in chapter ‘7.3. Maintenance instructions’ . Make sure you follow the steps below before you put the pallet forks frame into operation: 1. Mount the FEM attachment/FEM forks onto your pallet forks frame (see chapter ‘5. Assembly and installation of the product’).

2. Cleaning Only clean the equipment with a cloth dampened in a soap solution (REF 131TA5500)* or TotalSource wipes (REF 147TA3378). Do not use solvents, petrol, strong detergents etc. If the equipment is heavily soiled, the use of a pressure cleaner is only permitted providing that it is set to a maximum of 200 bar.

FINAL DECOMMISSIONING AND DISPOSAL Final, proper decommissioning or disposal of the product must be performed in accordance with the regulations of the country in which the product is used. In particular, regulations governing the disposal of batteries, fuels and electronic and electrical systems must be observed.
