Press RIGHT to enter IP address
If you haven't started your server on your local network, do so now. Then press the LEFT
arrow button to try again. If you need to specify a server on a remote network, press the
RIGHT arrow button and enter the IP address of the SlimServer using the number buttons on
your remote. Then press RIGHT to connect to that server.

Testing Your Network Setup

If you would like to test Squeezebox's network setup, and you know how to use the "ping"
utility to test a network device, you can ping the Squeezebox from the computer that acts as
the SlimServer. From a command prompt, type: "ping 1.2.3.4", replacing 1.2.3.4 with the IP
address of Squeezebox.
If the IP addresses within your network are set correctly, the player responds to the pings and
displays a message indicating the address of the computer pinging the player.

Returning to the Setup Menu

If you need to return to the setup menu at any time, simply press and hold the POWER button
for five seconds to reset your Squeezebox.
