INITIAL CHARGING AND SUBSEQUENT USE

position. The battery state indicator should indicate in the USE region, if not the battery should be
recharged as in

Setting the function switch to the ON position a trace should appear across the screen and the
liquid crystal distance display should indicate. If this does not occur then switch off and return the
tester for service.
