2.1.3. DUCT & SUCTION AIR FILTER
INSTALLATION
Field Supply Duct installation
Fix the Flexible Air Duct to External Faces of unit flanges
(the unit is equipped with factory supply flanges for this
purpose).
It is recommended to use a Flexible field supply Duct
portion in order to avoid any abnormal sound vibration.
Insulate frame corners by using properly tape. Field
supplied.
RPIM-units are equiped with standard Air Filter at the
suction side. This filter is provided for the cases in which no
Suction Duct is applied (or it is very short).
It is recommended the following indications depending on
the installation.
Keep the standard Air Filter in case of no Suction Duct is
applied (fig.1)
In case of applying Suction Duct, it is recommended to
apply Air Filter at the inlet point of Suction Duct,
removing the standard Air Filter of the unit (fig. 2)

Suction Air Filter Servicing
Remove the stay support (2 screws) from the unit and pull
down the Air Filter.

2.1.4. AIR SUCTION DIRECTION CHANGE
RPIM units, Air Suction direction can be modified by
changing Back Cover direction as shown in the diagram.
