  • Page 6 TIMER ME U INTRO INFO MMC 400 ON/STBY: Schaltet das Gerät ein, wenn es sich im Standby-Modus befindet. Umgekehrt kann das Gerät vom Power-Betrieb auf Standby geschaltet werden. CLOCK: Wenn sich das Gerät im Standby-Betrieb befindet, kann durch längeren Druck die Uhrzeit eingestellt werden.
  • Page 7 OFF angezeigt, dass der Alarm ausgeschaltet ist. Automatische Abschaltfunktion (Sleep) Wenn das MMC 400 eingeschaltet ist kann mittels der Sleep Taste auf der Fernbedienung das Gerät innerhalb von 90 – 10 Minuten abgeschaltet werden. Wenn der Sleep Timer aktiviert ist wird dies im Display mit Sleep und den Minuten angezeigt.
  • Page 8 USB-Betrieb: Programmierung der Wiedergabereihenfolge bei nicht laufender USB-Wiedergabe: • Drücken Sie die PROG-Taste. • Wählen Sie mit den Tasten SKIP FORWARD bzw. SKIP BACK den gewünschten Titel aus. Mit den Tasten FOLDER+ bzw. FOLDER- können Sie auch Titel aus anderen Ordnern der Wiedergabeliste hinzufügen.

DAB: aktuelle Senderinformationen durchschalten. Anspiel-Funktion AN/AUS. USB: Anspiel-Funktion AN/AUS. 10 -/TUNE –: FM-Betrieb: Kurzer Druck: Die Empfangsfrequenz wird schrittweise verringert. Langer Druck: Startet den Sendersuchlauf Richtung niedrigerer Frequenzen.

CD-SCHUBLADE: Legen Sie die CD mit der Beschriftung nach oben in diese Schublade. ON/STBY: Schaltet das Gerät ein, wenn es sich im Standby-Modus befindet. Umgekehrt kann das Gerät vom Power-Betrieb auf Standby geschaltet werden.

    ANTENNEN-Eingang auf der Rückseite des Geräts an, und rollen Sie das Kabel voll aus. ZUSÄTZLICHE AUDIOGERÄTE Zusätzliche Audiogeräte werden vor der Inbetriebnahme des MMC 400 an die entsprechende Buchse angeschlossen. FERNBEDIENUNG Zur Benutzung der Fernbedienung richten Sie diese auf das Display des MMC 400.
  • Page 13 FUNKTIONEN DES MMC 400 DISPLAY-HELLIGKEIT: Drücken Sie im Betriebs- oder Standby-Modus wiederholt die DIMMER-Taste, um die gewünscht Display-Helligkeit zu wählen. Sie können zwischen drei Helligkeitsstufen wählen - dunkel, mittel und hell. DAB / DAB+ TUNERBETRIEB Das Gerät kann in Ihrer Region verfügbare DAB und DAB+ Radiosender empfangen.

    MANUELLES AUSWÄHLEN UND SPEICHERN VON SENDERN • Hinweis: Bevor Sie Sender manuell einstellen, informieren Sie sich über die Kanäle und Frequenzen der in Ihrer Region verfügbaren DAB / DAB+ Sender. • Schalten Sie das Gerät ein. • Drücken Sie wiederholt die SOURCE-Taste auf der Fernbedienung oder die Taste Gerät, um den DAB-Modus zu wählen.

    Drücken Sie so oft die REPEAT-Taste, bis im Display REP OFF angezeigt wird. FUNKTIONEN DES TUNERS Radiobetrieb auswählen • Wählen Sie mit SOURCE (MMC 400, Pos. 7) oder FM (Fernbedienung, Pos. 5) TUNER als Audioquelle aus. Sendersuche • Wählen Sie TUNER als Audioquelle (siehe oben).
  • Page 16 RDS (RADIO DATA SYSTEM)-FUNKTIONEN DES TUNERS RDS ist ein System, mit dem Informationen über UKW-Sendungen zusammen mit dem Signal des Senders ausgestrahlt werden. Der MMC 400 kann diese Informationen (über den Sender, die Sendung usw.) im Display anzeigen. Die RDS-Funktionen können über die INFO-Taste der Fernbedienung (14) eingestellt werden.

    TIMER ME U INTRO INFO MMC 400 ON/STBY: Switches the device on when it is in the standby mode. Conversely the device can be switched from power operation to the standby mode. CLOCK: In standby mode, press and hold CLOCK to adjust the clock time.
  • Page 21 EJECT: Opens or closes the CD compartment. SLEEP/TIMER: Set automatic shutdown time. Alarm timer. Alarm setting Before the alarm can be set, the clock must be set. Alarm setting: In standby mode, press and hold the button TlMER for 2 seconds. The hour indication is flashing, set the hours with the buttons and confirm with the TIMER button.

Press and hold: Activates the search function (backwards). CD operation: Decreases the played track by -10. USB operation: Decreases the played track by -10.

    FRONT PANEL REMOTE CONTROL INFRARED RECEIVER 2/3 DISPLAY SCREEN: Displays the settings you have made. CD COMPARTMENT: Insert the CD into the compartment with the label facing upwards. ON/STBY: Switches the device on when it is in the standby mode. Conversely the device can be switched from power operation to the standby mode.

    AUXILIARY AUDIO EQUIPMENT Auxiliary audio devices are to be connected to the appropriate sockets before starting to use the MMC 400. REMOTE CONTROL When using the remote control aim it at the display on the MMC 400.

    FUNCTIONS OF THE MMC 400 DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS In operation mode or in standby mode press the DIMMER button repeatedly to select the display brightness. Three brightness steps can be adjusted, dark, mid and bright. DAB / DAB+ TUNER OPERATION The unit is able to receive available DAB and DAB+ radio stations in your area.
  • Page 28 SELECTING AND SAVING STATIONS MANUALLY • Hint: Before beginning to tune in stations manually, obtain the available DAB / DAB+ stations channel / frequency information for your area. • Switch on the appliance. • Press SOURCE button on the remote control or button on the appliance repeatedly to choose DAB mode.

    • Stopping the repeat function: Keep pressing the REPEAT button until REP OFF appears in the display. FUNCTIONS OF THE TUNER Radio operation • Select TUNER as the audio source using the SOURCE (MMC 400, 7) or FM button (remote control, 5). Station search • Select TUNER as audio source (see above).

    RDS is a system which provides information about FM stations that is broadcast together with the station‘s signal. The MMC 400 can present this information (about the station, broadcast, etc.) in the display. The RDS functions can be set via the INFO button on the remote control (14).
