Removing the system fan

Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in
2. Remove the SD memory card
3. Remove the optical drive assembly
4. Remove the base cover
5. Disconnect the battery cable from the connector on the system board.
Steps
1. Disconnect the ODD cable, display cable and fan cable from the system board [1, 2, 3].
2. Remove the three (M2.5x5) screws that secure the fan to the palmrest and keyboard board assembly [1].
3. Lift the fan off the palmrest and keyboard board assembly [2].
