2 heat settings and fan
Turning the Unit On or Off
To power the unit on, turn the heat selection dial to
any position other than Off (O) and the thermostat
dial away from the '-' position. The unit is on when
the On/Off indicator light at the front of the unit
comes on, hot air starts emitting from the grille
and the motor starts up.
To power the unit off, turn the heat selection dial
to the Off position (O) and the thermostat dial to
the '-' position. The unit is off when the On/Off
indicator light at the front of the unit goes out, hot
air stops emitting from the grille and the motor is
no longer audible.
Heat Setting Selection
This heater offers a choice of 2 heat settings, as
well as a fan mode, which gives off cool air.
Turn the heat selection dial from left to right to
cycle between the Fan, Low or High heat settings.
Turn the dial from right to left to cycle between
High, Low and Fan settings.
Turn the heat selection dial to the O position to
turn the unit off.

Tip-Over Switch

This heater is equipped with a tip-over switch,
located at the base of the appliance. This switch
automatically cuts off the unit whenever it is
moved or tipped over, for safety.
When the tip-over switch is activated, return
the heater to a flat and stable position and turn
all dials to the Off position. Once the appliance
is stable, turn it back on as described above to
resume normal operation.
Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING: Before cleaning and maintenance,
switch the appliance off and remove the plug from
the socket, to prevent electric shock.
Do not immerse any part of the appliance, power
cord or plug in liquids.
Use a soft damp cloth to wipe the surface. Avoid
using detergent, spray or chemicals as these may
cause damage to the appliance.
Mains plug replacement
If a new mains plug needs to be fitted:
Safely dispose of the old plug.
Connect the brown lead to the live terminal in the
new plug.
Connect the blue lead to the neutral terminal.
If the product is class I (earthed), connect the
green/yellow lead to the earth terminal.
Note! If your product is class II double insulated
(only 2 wires in the cord set), no connection is to be
made to the earth terminal.
Follow the fitting instructions supplied with good
quality plugs. Any replacement fuse must be of the
same rating as the original fuse supplied with the
product.
