Appendix. SOFTWARE UPDATE TROUBLESHOOTING
• The tool will attempt to communicate with the PCB 5 times ("Try Connect" display). If there
is no communication, the tool will display "Baudrate Settin 31250" continuously. Check the
tool harness connections, and then unplug the tool for a few seconds and try again.
• If there is an error in the update process, the display will not show the "Success" screen.
The tool will display "Progress 100%" continuously. Unplug the tool for a few seconds and try
again.
• If the success number shown in the tool does NOT match the MODEL CHART or there are any
other errors, unplug the tool for a few seconds and then try again. Verify each step of these
instructions carefully for correct settings and file selection.
• If the SD memory card is not properly inserted or the software files are missing or corrupted,
the tool will display an error describing the problem. Make sure the SD card is properly
inserted in the socket and that it is fully seated and clicked into the socket on the side of
the tool.
Tips the wrong software was loaded:
 Some cycles may not work
 Some temperatures you may not be able to select like hot
 Some cycles may have dashes [- -] in the display instead of the time like a load sensing cycle.
 Cycle times may be off; like Rinse/Spin (50 minutes), or Express Wash is (64 minutes)
 The washer may not go into the diagnostics mode
 The control may not power up
