Using rechargeable batteries Open the cover of the battery compartment Insert the rechargeable batteries into the battery compartment. • Carefully check the correct orientation of the positive and negative terminals of the battery. An AC adaptor must be connected to the AC outlet and power input.
Preparation before using your unit Using standard batteries Attach the external battery pack as shown in the picture. • Then, turn the lock control to secure firmly in place. Open the cover of the battery compartment. Carefully check the correct orienta- tion of the positive and negative ter- minals of the batteries.
Carefully insert the car cassette adaptor into the car radio’s cassette compartment. Start the CD player and adjust the sound with the car radio controls. If no sound is heard or the car cassette adaptor is removed, change the playback direction on the car cassette deck.
