Basic Recording
Controlling Sound from the Speaker
The Speaker works in PLAYER and M.PLAY mode.
I
When you use the LCD monitor for playback, you
can hear recorded sound from the built-in Speaker.

Follow the instructions below to decrease or
mute speaker volume in the PLAYER or M.PLAY
mode.
1. Set the power switch to PLAYER.
2. Press
(PLAY/STILL) to play the tape or
moving picture.
3. When you hear sounds once the tape is in play, use
the MENU SELECTOR to adjust the volume.

A volume level display will appear on the LCD
monitor.
Levels may be adjusted from anywhere between
00 to 19.
I
If you close the LCD monitor while playing, you
will not hear sound from the speaker.
Notes
I
When the cable is connected to the Multi AV jack,
you cannot hear sound from the speaker and
cannot adjust the volume.
I
If a cable is connected to the Multi AV jack, you can
hear sound from the speaker when AV IN/OUT
MODE on MENU is set to AV IN or S-VIDEO IN.
I
You can hear sound from speaker by removing the
connected cable from the Multi AV jack.

El altavoz sólo funciona en la modalidad PLAYER y
M.PLAY.

Cuando se usa la pantalla LCD para la
reproducción, se puede oír el sonido a través del
altavoz incorporado.

Siga las instrucciones detalladas a continuación
para reducir o silenciar el volumen del altavoz
en el modo PLAYER o M.PLAY.
1. Ajuste la videocámara en la modalidad PLAYER.
2. Pulse
(PLAY/STILL) para reproducir la cinta o
la imagen en movimiento.
3. Al oír los sonidos una vez que la cinta esté en
marcha, ajuste el volumen mediante el SELECTOR
MENÚ.

Aparece el nivel de volumen en la pantalla LCD.
Se puede ajustar el nivel desde 00 a 19.
I
Si cierra la pantalla LCD durante la reproducción,
no se oirá ningún sonido por el altavoz.
Nota
I
Cuando hay un cable conectado al conector Multi
AV, el altavoz no emite ningún sonido y no se
puede ajustar el volumen.
I
Si se conecta un cable al jack Multi AV, se podrá
escuchar sonido desde el altavoz al fijar el AV
IN/OUT MODE del MENU en AV IN o S-VIDEO IN.
I
Si desea oír el sonido a través del altavoz,
desconecte el cable del conector Multi AV.
