GETTING STARTED
Easy Entry Seats
DO NOT place any article under a power seat or impede its ability to move as it
may cause damage to the seat controls. Seat travel may become limited if
movement is stopped by an obstruction in the seat's path.
• Adjusting a seat while the vehicle is moving is dangerous. The sudden
movement of the seat could cause you to lose control. The seat belt might
not be properly adjusted, and you could be severely injured or killed. Only
adjust a seat while the vehicle is parked.
• Do not ride with the seatback reclined so that the seat belt is no longer
resting against your chest. In a collision, you could slide under the seat belt
and be severely injured or killed. Use the recliner only when the vehicle is
parked.

REAR SEAT

18
• Pull forward on the lever, located on
the side of the seatback, to dump the
seatback forward and slide the seat
forward. You can also temporarily
remove the seat belt from the guide
loop on the seat and allow the seat belt
to retract out of the way. This allows
for easier access to the rear seat.
CAUTION!
WARNING!
Folding Rear Seatback
• Pull on the loops, located near the
outer top of the seatbacks, to fold
down either or both seatbacks. These
loops can be tucked away when not in
use.
• When the seatback is raised to the
upright position, make sure it is
latched by strongly pulling on the top
of the seatback above the seat loop.
