WARNING! Never allow shock loads to be applied to the winch or strap.
WARNING! Boat trailers not equipped with keel or side hull rollers are designed
to be submerged in the water when the boat is loaded, i.e. the boat should be
"floated" onto the trailer. If the trailer is not submerged, attempts to"drag" the
boat onto this type of trailer can cause winch failure and possible injury. Winches
are not designed to secure boats to trailers. Boat tie downs should be used.

This product fulfils the requirements of quality class HA 2807.

PRIOR TO USE

Assembly
HANDLE: Insert handle (5) on threaded
brake assembly shaft. Thread handle to
point of engagement (touching) of brake
pad.
HANDLE RETAINER ASSEMBLY: Insert
bolt (1) through flat washer (2), spacer
(3), and spring (4). Spring will fit over
spacer. Recheck the figure to insure
proper order of assembly. Install bolt
containing assembled retainer parts (1)
into threaded end of brake shaft and
tighten bolt securely.
IMPORTANT! Proper installation is important for maximum braking performance. Handle
retainer assembly permits free action of brake and handle. No backing handle off shaft. No
locking of handle away from brake. RECHECK ASSEMBLY BEFORE USE.
