Menu: access the phone's menu
functions.

Voice on/Voice off: switch off the
phone's microphone so that the other
person on the phone cannot hear you, or
switch it back on.
•
Mute keys/Send keys: switch the key
tones on or off.
To communicate with answering
machines or computerised telephone
systems, Send keys must be
selected.
•
Send DTMF: send the DTMF (Dual tone
multi-frequency) tones as a group. The
DTMF tones are the tones used in phones
for tone dialling, sounding when you
press the number keys. This option is
helpful for entering a password or an
account number when you call an
automated system, like a banking
service.
•
Phonebook: access the contact list.
•
End held call: disconnect the call
currently on hold.
•
Transfer: transfer the currently active
call to a caller on hold. The two callers
can talk to each other, but you are
disconnected from the call.
•
Join: set up a multi-party call by adding
a caller on hold to a currently active call.
You can include up to 5 people on a
multi-party call.
•
Select one: select one of multi-party
call participants. You can then use the
following options:
Private: have a private conversation
with one multi-party call participant. The
other participants can converse with
each other. After the private
conversation, select Join to return both
all private participants to the multi-party
call.
Remove: disconnect one multi-party call
participant.
