• By Storage: press the Down key and select the
memory location containing the entry you want to
find by pressing the Left or Right key.
2. If necessary, press the Up or Down key to scroll to
the entry you want.
3. When the entry you want highlights, press the
Select soft key to access the entry.
The phone shows details about the name.
4. To
place a call to
the number
use the options
When you press the MENU soft key while viewing the
number, the following options are available:
Call: allows you to place a call.
Edit: allows you to edit information about the entry.
Copy: allows you to copy a number to the phone's
memory or R-UIM memory.
Prepend: allows you to add digits, such as area
codes, to the number before dialing.
Delete: deletes the selected entry.

Add New Entry

This menu allows you to store a number with a name
in your Phone Book. You can save all the person's
numbers, such as the workplace number, mobile
number and fax number, into one entry. In the phone's
memory, a name can contain up to five numbers in
each category. You can save only one number with a
name in the R-UIM memory.
Creating a New Entry in the R-UIM
1. Enter a phone number and press the Save soft key.
2. Press the Select soft key when Add New Name is
highlighted.
If you are creating an entry for the first time, skip to
the step 3.
3. Press the Select soft key when R-UIM is selected.
4. Enter a name and press the Next soft key.

The memory location and the number display.
5. Press the Save soft key to save the entry.
6. When a confirming message displays, select Yes
and press the Select soft key.
After storing, the phone displays the memory status of
the Phone Book entry number for a few seconds.
