Reading Text Messages
1. Press the
key in Standby mode.
2. Select Inbox using the Navigation keys and press
the OK key.
3. Select Text using the Navigation keys and press
the OK key.
An indexed list of text messages displays. The
first message is the latest one. A symbol on the
left of the sender's name or number indicates the
status of the message:
: Read messages
: Unread messages
: Locked messages
4. Select a message using the Navigation keys.

MENU key and select
the Delete option.
MENU key and select
the Delete All option.
While reading a message, press the MENU key to
use the following options:
Reply: allows you to send a reply message to the
sender.
Forward: allows you to resend the message to other
people.
Delete: deletes the message.
Save Number: allows you to save the phone
number of the sender. For further details about
saving a number in your Phonebook, see page 27.
Protect: allows you to keep the message from being
deleted. Locked messages are marked with the
icon on the list. They are not deleted until you unlock
by selecting this option.

Using the Outbox

In the Outbox, you can:
• write and send text messages to multiple
destinations.
• review the message you sent.
Creating and Sending a New Message
1. Press the
key in Standby mode.
2. Select Outbox using the Navigation keys and
press the OK key.
3. Select New Message using the Navigation keys
and press the OK key.
