Always use properly grounded 110v AC receptacle protected by Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI). Never remove ground pin from plug. Read installation and operation instructions thoroughly.
  • Page 6 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS EMOTE ONTROL Power Out Power In OVERLOADING/OVERHEATING This winch is rated for intermittent duty. It should not be operated with the motor slowed down to a low RPM. When the motor approaches stall speed, a very rapid heat build-up occurs which may cause motor damage. Double line rigging will reduce the amperage draw from the motor allowing longer continual use (see rigging section).

SPOOLING IN UNDER LOAD • The wire rope must always spool onto the bottom of the drum as indicated by decal on the winch and illustrations on Page 5 of this manual.
  • Page 9 SPOOLING IN UNDER NO LOAD con’t • Unassisted: Arrange the wire rope to be spooled so it will not kink or tangle when spooled. Be sure any wire rope on the drum is tightly and evenly layered. Spool enough wire rope to complete the next full layer on the drum. Tighten and straighten the layer.

  • Page 17 MODE D'EMPLOI ÉLÉCOMMANDE Dérouler Enrouler SURCHARGE/SURCHAUFFE Ce treuil est conçu pour un service intermittent. Ne le faites pas fonctionner quand le moteur tourne à bas régime. Lorsque le moteur du treuil atteint une vitesse si faible qu’il peut caler, il se met à chauffer très rapidement, ce qui peut l’endommager.
  • Page 18 ENTRETIEN • Aucune lubrification n’est nécessaire pendant la durée de service du treuil. • Vérifiez les câbles de la batterie tous les 90 jours pour vous assurer qu’ils sont propres et bien branchés. • Inspectez le câble avant et après chaque utilisation du treuil. Remplacez-le s’il est endommagé.

  • Page 20 • Enroulement non assisté : arrangez le câble d'acier devant être enroulé de manière à ce qu’il ne s’entortille ni ne s’emmêle pendant le rembobinage. Assurez-vous que le câble d’acier est enroulé sur le tambour de manière uniforme et serrée. Enroulez une quantité suffisante de câble pour compléter une couche entière sur le tambour.
