Step 2. Disconnect the 14-pin I/O board cable from the system board and I/O board. Then, remove the 14-
pin I/O board cable.

Remove the I/O board

Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.
"Remove the lower case" on page 30
"Remove the left I/O board bracket" on page 34
Step 1. Disconnect the 14-pin I/O board FFC and 40-pin I/O board FFC from the I/O board. Remove two
screws and remove the I/O board.
