- Page 4 Software Installation Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003 will automatically detect and install it's built-in driver for the USB SoundWave 7.1 Pro when connected. To get full function from the soundcard, install Xear 3D software utility from the software CD. Xear 3D Software Included on the USB SoundWave 7.1 Pro software CD is the Xear 3D Audio Configuration Utility, Mixer and Equalizer.
- Page 5 Xear 3D Software Utlity Xear 3D quick start icon, located in the system tray by the clock, installs automatically during installation. Simply click on the quick start icon to open the audio setup utility. Enable S/PDIF Output Click on the quick start icon located in the taskbar by the system clock.
