Getting Started

Thank you for purchasing the Rotel RT-1080
AM/FM Stereo Tuner. When used in a high-
quality music audio system, it will provide
years of musical enjoyment.
The RT-1080 is a full featured, high perfor-
mance component. All aspects of the design
have been optimized to retain the full dynam-
ic range and subtle nuances of your music.
Rotel's Balanced Design Concept combines
advanced circuit board layout, comprehen-
sive parts evaluation, and extensive listen-
ing tests for superior sound and long term
reliability.
The printed circuits are designed with Sym-
metrical Circuit Traces so that the precise tim-
ing of the music is faithfully preserved. Metal
film resistors and polystyrene or polypropyl-
ene capacitors are used in important signal
