    HARDWARE IDENTIFICATION CHART This chart is provided to help identify the fasteners used in the assembly process. Place the washers or the ends of the bolts or screws on the circles to check for the correct diameter. Use the small scale to check the length of the bolts and screws.

    ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Place all parts from the box in a cleared area and position them on the floor in front of you. Remove all packing materials from your area and place them back into the box. Do not dispose of the packing materials until assembly is completed.
  • Page 9 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 4 Attach the SEAT(37) to the SEAT FRAME(65) with ROUND HEAD BOLTS(M6x1x15mm)(48) and WASHERS(M6)(68). STEP 5 There is an “R” decal on the RIGHT HANDRAIL(5), and an “L” decal on the LEFT HANDRAIL(4). Refer to the detail view A. Note the correct position of the HANDRAILS(4, 5), the HANDRAILS(4, 5) should be assembled with a angle upward.
  • Page 10 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 7 NOTE: The RIGHT PEDAL(34) has an R stamped on the end of the pedal shaft. The RIGHT PEDAL(34) has right hand threads and is tightened by turning clockwise. The LEFT PEDAL(33) has an L stamped on the end of the pedal shaft. The LEFT PEDAL(33) has left hand threads and is tightened by turning counterclockwise.
  • Page 11 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 9 Attach the HANDLEBAR(66) to the UPRIGHT(2) with BUTTON HEAD BOLTS(M8x1.25x15mm)(45), LOCK WASHERS(M8)(71), and WASHERS(M8)(59). STEP 10 Install two AAA batteries into the METER(11), the batteries are not included. See page 15 for detailed battery installation instructions. Plug the EXTENSION WIRE(8) into the connecting wires of the METER(11), and push the excess wires back into the UPRIGHT(2).

    SET UP INSTRUCTIONS Place the Stamina® Recumbent Exercise Bike 345 in the area where it will be used. It is recommended that the Stamina® Recumbent Exercise Bike 345 be placed on an equipment mat. The Stamina® Recumbent Exercise Bike 345 is approximately 57.7 inches long (max.) x 21.1 inches wide x 42.3 inches tall.

    CAUTION: Do not attempt to adjust the seat while you are on the Stamina® Recumbent Exercise Bike 345. 2. Always tighten the LOCKING KNOB(74) after adjusting the seat to a new position. CAUTION: Do not use the HANDRAILS(4, 5) to raise or lower your full body weight.

    CONDITIONING GUIDELINES How you begin your exercise program depends on your physical condition. If you have been inactive for several years or are severely overweight, start slowly and increase your workout time gradually. Increase your workout intensity gradually by monitoring your heart rate while you exercise. Remember to follow these essentials: Have your doctor review your training and diet programs.
