2. Starting

1. Open the fuel tap.
2. On a cold engine open the choker.
Note: By a hot engine choke is not required.
3. Turn the engine's gas control lever on full gas
(If the engine is mounted on a machine with cable-regulated gas, full gas is given).
4. Turn the throttle cable to "start position".
5. Pull the recoil starter gently until you feel resistance in the rope. Then pull quickly and
energetic. Do not at any time let go of the recoil starter but slide it gently back and pull
again.
6. For 230V electric starter.
Plug the cord into the power socket and to the electrical socket on the engine and press the
red start button in order to start the engine. After the engine is started remove the plug from
the socket and the outlet of the engine.
7. Regulate the choker until the engine is running smoothly.

3. Operation

1. When the engine has been started move the choke gradually to the right.
2. Adjust the gas to the requested speed.
See fig. 2.
Please observe the following during operation.
Exhaustion must not be black. If the exhaustion is black the load is too high or the engine
has not been adjusted correctly.
Unpleasant sound and vibration.
If these appear turn off the engine and adjust it. Contact your dealer

4. Stopping the engine

1. Turn the gas control to position "Low" and engine will stop running.
2. Turn the fuel tap to the "off" position
