Cutting with your sliding miter saw

To slide cut

WARNING
When using a work clamp, C-clamp, or other suitable clamp to secure
your workpiece, clamp the workpiece on one side of the blade only.
NEVER move the workpiece or make adjustments to any cutting
angle while the saw is running and the blade is rotating.
Do not try to cut narrow pieces using the sliding feature.
NEVER pull the saw
toward you during a cut.
Be aware of the path of
the saw blade.
Securely tighten the slide-rail lock knob when making any non-sliding
cuts.
