Precautions

In order to use the Liteplay 8 safely and properly, please read this instruction manual carefully before installation and use. It contains important product and safety information; please keep this manual for future reference.

• Before turning on the power switch, please ensure that the relevant power cord is connected to the Liteplay8 base. DO NOT plug and unplug the power connector on the base end when the power is on, otherwise the base may be damaged.
• When the device is turned on, the internal self-calibration function will be enabled, and the steering wheel will rotate by itself. When the device is in the self-inspection state, please do not touch or rotate the steering wheel.
• DO NOT place the device and power supply in a humid or rainy environment to avoid the risk of short circuit/electric shock resulting in damage to the device, fire, and shock.
• When playing force feedback games, the recommended game time is 60 minutes, with a 5-minute break every 20 minutes, and the playing time should not exceed 2 HOURS.
• When users use it for the first time, please follow the steps in [Instructions for Use].
• If the feedback force is too strong to control the simulation when in-game, please stop the game immediately and adjust the strength to accommodate the user.
• This product is not suitable for juveniles or children under the age of 16. Parents and guardians must supervise and adjust the appropriate force feedback data, and use the device ONLY under direct adult supervision.
• This base contains components that cannot be repaired by the user, opening the base case will void the warranty!

The flange head supports the quickrelease male head connection with a diagonal hole pitch of 70/74.

Interface description

Power socket:DO NOT plug and unplug the power plug with power on!

Emergency stop switch/CAN: used to connect Cammus steering wheel, pedals and other products;

External USB port: Used to connect to PC;

USB-B: use the factory-equipped USB-B data cable to connect to the PC;

Start switch: short press for 1s to turn on, long press for 3s to turn off;

Force Update button: Keep the button pressed and press the base start switch at the same time to force the wheelbase to update to the newest firmware version
(only use this function if the wheelbase is not working properly);

Adaptive device

In order to adapt to other brands of steering wheel rims, the CAMMUS Liteplay 8 base has opted to use the standard 70mm spacing.

APP acquisition and usage tutorial

• Users can obtain the control software [CAMMUS] in the following ways.
• Users can enter the corresponding support page to download according to the guidelines (http://cammus.com).
• Contact the customer service at designated sales outlets and channels of CAMMUS to obtain the download file.

Software

[CAMMUS] is an app for parameter adjustment and device management of the [CAMMUS Liteplay 8] base. Using [CAMMUS], you can perform the following operations.

• Adjust FFB parameters.
• Preset parameters.
• Parameter recommendation for different models.
• Device management.
