This new orifice design dramatically prolongs the life of the rubber seat. Seat wear is the number one
cause of regulator leaks and performance degradation over time. The first and only adjustable dynamic
orifice is pressure energized and only contacts the rubber seat when the regulator is being used. The
orifice is constructed of corrosion-free titanium.
