Warning! Keep feet away from rotating parts. only touch machine parts when they have come to a complete standstill. Never open or remove protective devices when the engine is running. Warning! Danger from thrown away objects with the engine running. There is a danger that wood shavings, rootwork, soil, stones or other material will suddenly be ejected.
Page 12
Security General safety regulations Instructions on hazards, warnings and precautions must be followed to minimize the risk of personal injury and property damage as well as incorrect service work. The relevant accident prevention regulations and other generally accepted safety and occupational health rules must be complied with.
Page 13
Understand your root cutter Read and understand the user manual and the labels affixed to the root cutter. Familiarize yourself with the application and limitations, as well as the related, specific, potential threats. Also, familiarize yourself with the controls and their proper use. Learn how to stop the root cutter and turn it off quickly.
Page 14
Personal security Do not operate the root milling machine if you are tired or if you are under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication that could affect your ability to operate the machine properly. Dress properly. Wear long, strong trousers with leg protection, safety shoes, preferably with steel caps and grip-resistant protective gloves.
Page 15
Avoid accidental startup. Make sure the motor switch is off before transporting the machine, performing maintenance or service. Transporting or maintaining the machine when the motor switch is switched on can be a danger. Prolonged use of the motor equipment can lead to vibration-related circulatory problems on the fingers, hands or wrists.
Page 16
Screw the tank lid onto the fuel tank. immediately wipe the spilled fuel. Never operate the device without the tightly screwed-on tank lid. There should be no ignition source near spilled fuel. If fuel is spilled, remove the machine from there.
Page 17
Check the machine for failures or worn parts, breaks on parts and the like to ensure the functionality and operational safety of the device. Regular maintenance of the root milling machine is an essential prerequisite for maintaining the safety and performance of the device. Keep the engine and exhaust free of grass, leaves, excessive grease or exhaust to reduce the risk of fire.
Page 18
Ensure that all fenders, straps and handles are securely fastened. After maintenance and repair work, always attach the protective and safety devices to the device and place them in a protective position. Use only approved parts. This machine complies with the relevant safety regulations. Repairs may only be carried out by an approved service center or our service team.

Gasoline Danger of health and explosion due to internal combustion engine In the exhaust gas the engine is to de-contain toxic carbon monoxide. Staying in a carbon monoxide-containing environment can lead to unconsciousness and death. do not run the motor in a closed area. Keep the engine away from heat, sparks and flames.
PETROL Storage Fuels are only limited in storage, they age. Overlaid fuels or fuel mixtures can lead to start-up problems. Store only as much fuel as you consume in a month. Store fuels only in containers specially approved for this purpose. Store fuel tanks dry and secure. Store fuel tanks inaccessible to children.

Only put the root milling machine into operation if all milling blades are properly inserted and fastened. Furthermore, make sure that all protective devices are attached and in protective position. Check that the motor parking safety handle (Red handle) is working. Start the motor and run it for a few seconds then release handle the motor should stop immediately.
MOTOR OFF ( Fig.1 - 4) Push the gas regulator lever (1) into the idle position "SLOW". Set the motor switch (1) to "OFF / OFF" and wait until the milling blade is standing. Insert the parking brake (5), pulling the lever backwards. Then slide the fuel tap (5) to the left on "OFF / OFF".
Page 30
4. Place the motor switch (1) in on position. 5. Depress the red safety lever. 5. Start the motor, pulling the pull starter (2). Allow the engine to heat up for about 2 minutes when idle before starting milling. 7. Tilt the machine onto the wheel (8) so that the milling wheel (10) is lifted off the bottom of the tree stump.

Should a larger amount of wood chips accumulate under the milling wheel, turn off the machine, switch off and wait until the milling wheel stops. The chips NEVER while working by hand or an aid, such as wooden stick, hoe and gl. to remove.
4. Wait about 20 seconds for the blade to stand still completely. 5. Remove the motor parking line (rip line) from the motor parking button. 5. Set the motor switch (1) to "OFF / OFF". 6. Insert parking brake (5). 7.
Page 33
7. After each use, dirt and wood shavings accumulated under and on the root cutter must be removed. To avoid overheating of the engine, the cylinder cooling fins must be kept clean. Use commercially available multi-purpose oil to easily oil all moving parts. 8.
Page 34
2. Loosen the head screws - 1 piece per blade - and then unscrew them. When removing the screw, hold the blade and pull the screw out of the milling wheel. 3. Fix the new blade with the Inbus head screws and screw it. 4.
Page 35
CHANGE DRIVE BELTS Always replace too long, damaged or worn belts with new original drive belts. 1. Remove the belt cover. 2. Loosen the four screws on the motor. 4. Move the motor until the drive belt has to be removed without any problems. 5.
Page 36
CLEAN / CHANGE AIR FILTERS Frequent cleaning of the air filter (6) prevents carburetor malfunctions. If the engine starts to smoke and at the same time the engine power decreases, this is the sign that the filter is clogged. Clean the air filter, knock it out easily so that dust falls out of the paper element.

Hot surfaces. On the engine there are parts with hot surfaces, for example the exhaust pot or the cooling fins of the motor. Wait for the engine to cool down before working on the engine. Check, clean and replace spark plug 1.
The engine oil must be changed after the first 5 hours of operation. After that, only every 100 operating hours or every season. 1. Unscrew oil drain plug (11). 2. Unscrew oil filler plug (10). 3. Hold a suitable vessel (at least 1.5 liters) under the oil drain screw. 4.
Move the device in an upright position to avoid fuel or oil leakage. For long-distance transport, the fuel tank must be completely emptied. Carefully load and unload the machine. Use suitable lifting and transport means. When lifting use lifting handle (12) and stop point - wheels/axis. Secure the machine on the transport vehicle against unrolling, slipping or tipping and additionally torenden in suitable places with tension bands, chains or ropes.
