Preparation
· cut elastic to length required
· divide fabric edge and elastic into 4 equal sections
and mark
· pin elastic to raw edge, matching markings
Sewing
· stretch the elastic to fit the raw edge while sewing
· trim excess fabric close to the stitching
TIP
Preventing elastic from stretching too much
· avoid over-stretching the elastic; adjust the presser foot
pressure to suit the fabric.
