Shuffle
: This will play all of the tracks from the CD in a random order, and then stop playing.
Shuffle 1
: Pressing the left or right joypad button will randomly select a track, which will then be
repeated continually.
Shuffle Dir All
: This will play all of the tracks in the current directory in a random order.
Shuffle All
: This will play all of the tracks on the CD in a random order. Once all of the tracks have
been played, it will re-shuffle the songs and play the entire CD again.
Intro
: This feature will play the first 10 seconds of a track, and then move on to the next track. Intro
Highlight will skip to 1 minute into the track, and then play 10 seconds of it before moving on to the next
track.
User Def EQ (User Defined Equalizer)
Bass Boost
: The Bass level may be set from 0 to 12 DB
Bass Freq
: The Bass frequency for the Bass Boost may be set to 50 Hz (Level 1), 100 Hz (Level 2), or
200 Hz (Level 3). If the Bass Boost is set to 0, the Bass Freq will have no affect.
Treble Boost
: The Treble level may be set from 0 to 12 DB.
Treble Freq
: The Treble frequency for the Treble Boost may be set to 2 kHz (Level 1), 4 kHz (Level
2), or 7 kHz (Level 3). If the Treble Boost is set to 0, the Treble Freq will have no affect.

Navigation
To access the User Preferences, long press the EQ button. This will bring you to the list of main
categories. Short pressing the Joypad up and down will scroll through the category list. The list will loop,
so when you get to the bottom (User Def EQ) and press down again, it will cycle you to the top of the list
(General).
In the main category list, short pressing the left button on the Joypad (Rewind) will exit the User
Preferences menu. Short pressing the right button on the Joypad (Fast Forward) will take you to the
individual options within the main category.
Once in the category, a short press to the right button on the Joypad (Fast Forward) will change to the next
option for that setting. These options will cycle through the choices. Only the right joypad button can be
used to change the setting. Short pressing the up or down button on the Joypad will cycle through the list
of options within each category. A short press to the left button on the Joypad (Rewind) will take you
back to the main list of categories.
For Example, if you wanted to adjust the following settings to these values:
Beep Volume = 2
Resume = On
Adapter Light = Off
Scan Speed = 2X
