Larynx masks
A special combination of nozzles (optional extra, available from Miele)
is required for processing larynx masks.
For reprocessing double tubed larynx masks a combination of the E
497 and E 498 injector nozzles is required. The nozzles are supplied
with their own sets of operating instructions.
Single tubed larynx masks can be reprocessed either with the E 497
and E 498 injector nozzles or with a combination of the E 454 and E
464 nozzles.
Use a 7 mm spanner to unscrew one of the E 466 injector nozzles.
Remove the height adjustment clip from the E 454 injector nozzle.
Screw the E 454 injector nozzle into the E 464 holder.
Screw the combination of the two nozzles into the free holder and
tighten with the spanner.
Remove as much air as possible from the air cushion.
Attach the larynx mask to the nozzle combination.
Attach the balloon lead with the valve behind the spring clip.
