STRONG MAGNETIC FIELD

  1. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. This guide contains important safety and operating instructions for your Flipmate and charger (if applicable).
  2. Before using a battery charger, read all instructions and cautionary markings on the charger.
  3. Don't abuse the USB cord. Never carry a charger by the cord or use the cord to disconnect the charger from a receptacle.
  4. Plug AC chargers directly into an electrical outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  5. Do not use any damaged cord or charger. Replace damaged cords or plugs immediately.
  6. Remove light from AC charge before attempting any routine cleaning or maintenance.

USING THE LIGHT

  • The pushbutton switch is located on the right side of the body of the light.
  • Depress the button momentarily to turn the light on. The Cool white LEDs will come on in high mode. Press the button again and the light dims to low mode. A third press of the button will turn the light off.
  • To access the 90 CRI color matching LEDs, turn on the light, then press and hold the button for two seconds. The light will change from cool white mode to the 90 CRI LEDs. The light will now function in the same manner as the cool white LEDs with high and low modes.
    NOTE – If you wait more than two seconds between button pushes, the next press of the button will turn the light off.
  • Battery Indicator in the on/off button– Changes from Green to Yellow to Red and then Flashing Red when the battery is nearly out of power.
  • The blade of the FlipMate™ can rotate 270º on the body. Detents will hold the blade in your desired position.
  • The light will stand on its base on a flat surface with the light bar rotated up to 180º. To keep the light standing on its base from 180º-270º, you deploy and rotate the hook to the back side of the light to act as a kickstand.
  • The base includes a handy folding hook to allow for hanging and also assists in keeping the light stable as noted above.
  • The base also includes magnets to hold the light on any convenient ferrous metal surface to provide task-specific illumination.

CHARGING INFORMATION

Fully charge your flashlight before first use. The flashlight may be left plugged into the micro USB port/AC power after charge is completed.

To charge the light. First turn off the light. Plug the USB cord into a power source, then fold back the rubber micro USB cover on the left side of the light, plug the micro USB end of the cord into the port. The charge indicator is located in the on/off switch. The indicator will glow red for charging and green for charged.

Charge times will vary depending on the current available from the USB source. Charge time using SL #22049, 22058, 22059, 22071, or 22072 charger, recharges in 4.5 hours.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

Return the light to an authorized Streamlight repair center for battery replacement.

To assure product safety and reliability, repairs other than those listed below should be performed at the Streamlight factory. Always use Streamlight approved replacement parts, substitution may invalidate underwriter's approval.
