My proform premier 1300 will not run. The screen doesn’t turn on and no controls work but when i turn the switch off i hear the speaker hum as the power shuts down. I checked all the wire connections and they are good.

If the PRO-FORM PREMIER 1300 treadmill does not turn on and the controls are unresponsive, the possible issues could be:

1. The power cord is not plugged into a surge suppressor.
2. The surge suppressor is not plugged into a properly grounded outlet.
3. The surge suppressor does not meet the required specifications.
4. The power cord is not plugged in or needs to be unplugged and replugged after five minutes.
5. The power switch has tripped and needs to be reset after five minutes.
6. The key is not inserted into the console or needs to be reinserted.

If the treadmill still does not run after these steps, further assistance is needed.
