Checking the Seat Belt
Service Interval: Before each use or daily
Visually inspect seat belt for wear, cuts, and proper operation
of retractor and buckle. Replace before operating if damaged.
Checking the Rollover
Protection System (ROPS)
Knobs
Service Interval: Before each use or daily
WARNING
To avoid injury or death from rollover: keep the roll
bar in the fully raised locked position and use the
seat belt.
Ensure the seat is secured to the machine.
Check that both the mounting hardware and the knobs are
in good working condition. Make sure the knobs are fully
engaged with the ROPS in the raised position. The upper
hoop of the roll bar may need to be pushed forward or pulled
rearward to get both knobs fully engaged (Figure 60).
1. ROPS knob (locked
position)
2. Pull ROPS knob out and
rotate 90 degrees to
change roll bar position
Adjusting the Tracking
Refer to Adjusting the Motion Control Levers in the
Maintenance Section.
Checking the Tire Pressure
Service Interval: Every 50 hours/Monthly (whichever
comes first)
Maintain the air pressure in the rear tires at 13 psi (90 kPa).
Uneven tire pressure can cause uneven cut. Check the tires
when they are cold to get the most accurate pressure reading.
Note: The front tires are semi-pneumatic tires and do not
require air pressure maintenance.
