Using Your eBook
Step 1: Charging Your eBook
Although your eBook comes already charged, you might want to use the power adapter to charge it while
you use it for the first time.
A. Open the tab on the top of your eBook.
B. Connect one end of the power adapter to your eBook and plug the other end into a
convenient outlet.
Step 2: Connecting the Modem
The modem is used to register your eBook and
purchase eBook Editions.
A. Open the tab on the top of your
eBook.
B. Connect one end of the phoneline
cord to your eBook and plug the
other end into a convenient analog
phone jack.
