General controls

Standby / On – press to turn on unit or go to standby.
CD – select to CD function.
DIGITAL VOLUME – increases or decreases output volume.
clock / cd remain – selects between displaying track elapse time and CD remain time during CD
playback; displays clock time, date in CD or radio mode
track / tune (min / hour ) – In CD mode - searches / skips to the next track or back to the
previous track; In tuner mode - tunes up or down radio frequency; In clock and date setting mode -
move forward or backward when setting time and date.
set – In CD mode - enters program mode; In tuner mode - sets radio preset channels; enters clock
and date setting mode.
repeat / preset up – In CD mode - selects repeat options (repeats 1 track / repeat disc); In tuner
mode - accesses preset radio channels.
SHUFFLE – plays CD tracks randomly.
BASS BOOST – turns on/ off digital bass boost system.
E.Q. PRESET – selects among sound effects (Flat / Jazz / Pop / Rock / Classic).
RADIO / band – selects to radio function or selects between AM and FM band.
OPEN – opens the CD compartment door.
play / pause – starts or pauses CD play.
stop – stops CD playback.
CLOSE – push to close the disc compartment door.
