in the battery is below the usable limit, the fuel gauge will not
illuminate and the battery will need to be recharged.
nOtE: The fuel gauge is only an indication of the charge left on
the battery pack. It does not indicate tool functionality and is
subject to variation based on product components, temperature
and end-user application.
Assembly (Fig. F)

CAUTION: Ensure the lock-off switch is in the locked
position to prevent the trigger switch from moving and
the battery is removed before attaching or removing the
tube

. The tube must be attached to the housing
before use.
tUBE assEMBLY: To attach the tube to the blower, line
up the pegs

on the bottom of the tube with the notch
on the bottom of the housing opening as shown in
 12 
figure F. Push the tube into the blower housing until the
lock engages the tube.
Pull on the tube to ensure it is securely in place.
To remove the tube, insert a screwdriver into the unlocking
hole

on the side of the housing. Lift the tab inside and
pull tube out.
OPERATION

Proper Hand Position (Fig. A, H)

sudden reaction.
Hold the handle

Switching On (Fig. A, G, H)

CAUTION: Do not point unit discharge at self
or bystanders.

CAUTION: Always wear safety glasses. Wear a filter mask
if the operation is dusty. Use of gloves, long pants and
substantial footwear is recommended. Keep long hair and
loose clothing away from openings and moving parts.
To lock the blower on, pull back on the speed lock lever
as shown in figure G. The blower runs at higher speeds as the
lever is moved further. The speed lock lever can also be pulled
back to start the blower without needing to first depress the
trigger switch
.

Hold the sweeper with one hand as shown in figure H and
sweep from side to side with the tube
above the hard surface. Slowly advance keeping the
accumulated pile of debris in front of you.
Replacing Belt (Fig. I, J)
Follow the instructions below to replace the blower belt on the
unit or bring the blower to a D
D
WALT authorized service center, or other qualified service
e
personnel. Always use identical replacement parts.
1. Remove battery and slide the lock-off switch to the
locked position.
2. Remove the four belt cover screws

housing and remove the belt cover
3. Pull the belt
figure J. Once off it will easily slide out of the top.
4. Wrap the new belt around the top wheel and pull it down
over the bottom.
5. Replace belt cover.
6. Replace belt cover screws.

The charger and battery pack are not serviceable.
