Names of parts / How to attach the strap

1. Never look directly into the sun withbinoculars. Loss of vision may occur.
2. Do not place the binoculars in a locationsubject to direct sunlight. Fire may result if this occurs.

1. Adjust the eye interval.
   
   Remove the cover and adjust the binoculars with both hands by moving the unit slowly as shown in the figure. Perform the adjustment while looking through the binoculars until the field of view becomes a single circle.
2. Looking at the subject, adjust the focus dial so that the image seen by your left eye is in focus.
   While looking into the left eyepiece (with your left eye), rotate the focus dial until the subject is in focus.
   
3. Adjust the diopter control on the right eyepiece while looking with your right eye.
   
   While looking into the right eyepiece (with your right eye), rotate the diopter adjustment control until the same subject is in focus.
4. Bring the subject intofocus.
   While looking through the binoculars with both eyes, rotate the focus dial until the subject is in optimum focus.

Rotate the eyepiece ring counterclockwise and set at the click position (shown by broken lines).

※ Those who wear eyeglasses should set at the push-in click position.

• Remove any dust with a blower, and wipe gently with a clean cloth. When the eyepieces are stained, wipe it with a cloth, etc., moistened with a commercially available lens cleaner. Do not use thinner, benzine or organic solvents to clean the binoculars.
• When the binoculars are not to be used for an extended period of time, store them in a well-ventilated place, avoiding high temperature and humidity.
• Avoid strong impacts caused by bumping or dropping the binoculars
• Do not apply excessive force to the binoculars.
• Bring your binoculars to the Olympus service station whenever it is damaged or malfunctions.
