1 The remote controller and instructions may differ slightly from the unit
you have purchased..
2 Ensure you read the precautions set out in this manual prior to
operating the unit.
1. PRECAUTIONS
• Ensure the infrared signal is not blocked. Ensure the indoor unit is
responding to a demand set on the controller.
• Make sure the controller is not exposed to water or direct sunlight.
This will cause damage.
• Malfunction may occur if the infrared signal receiver on air
conditioning unit is exposed to sunlight. Please shelter the signal
receiver from sunlight.
• Ensure the batteries work in the remote controller. If required
replace the batteries.
• The reset button will indicate battery life.
• When a demand has been given to the indoor unit
beep and the controller will flash. If this does not happen, replace
the batteries.
• The infrared signal can transmit up to 11m. Ensure the controller is
pointed directly at the indoor unit.
