The time required to acquire satellite signals varies based on several factors, including how far you are from the location where you last used your navigation device, whether you have a clear view of the sky, and how long it has been since you last used your navigation device.

    Finding and Saving Locations The maps loaded in your device contain locations, such as restaurants, hotels, auto services, and detailed street information. The Where To? menu helps you find your destination by providing several methods to browse, search, and save this information. From the main menu, select Where To?.

    Location Search Results By default, the location search results appear in a list, with the nearest location at the top. You can scroll down to view more results. Select a location to view the option menu. Select to view detailed information about the selected location. Select to find parking areas near the location.

If you have disabled this option in the traffic settings (Traffic Settings, page 25), you can view and avoid traffic delays manually.
