SETUP
Waterproof Meat Thermometer Setup
AcuRite recommends high quality alkaline batteries for the best product
performance. Heavy duty or rechargeable batteries are not recommended.
Install or Replace Battery
The thermometer includes a pre-installed LR44 battery. Remove the plastic insulator tab
to activate the battery and thermometer display.
Auto Off
To conserve battery power, this product will automatically turn off after one hour of
no use or button activity.
SAVE THIS MANUAL FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Digital Waterproof Thermometer
1. To replace the battery, insert a coin
into the slot located on the bottom of
the thermometer. Gently twist the coin
counterclockwise to open the battery
compartment.
2. Remove and safely discard the old
battery. Insert 1 x LR44 coin cell battery
into the battery compartment with the
"+" positive terminal facing OUT.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover
and gently twist clockwise, using a coin.

Remove the protective sheath from the thermometer and insert the probe into the thickest part of meat or fowl, near the end of cooking time.
