ION TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
NO. PROBLEM

Battery Charger LED does not indicate activity when
the charger and battery are plugged in.

Battery Charger LED blinks RED or GREEN or is solid
GREEN when the battery is not attached to it.

Drilling lights come on, powerhead will not start, and
battery indicates (3) LEDs. ("ON" switch has been held
down for more than 5 seconds, ambient temperature
is very cold)

Drilling lights come on, powerhead continuously
runs–stops–runs with no load on it, will not cut ice.

Drilling lights come on, powerhead runs smoothly
with no load on it, and continuously runs–stops–runs

Drilling lights come on, powerhead runs smoothly
with no load on it, and turns slowly with low power
